The brief was to overhaul Armonica’s visual identity and website, infusing a futuristic edge while building investor confidence.


The goal: position the brand for multi-million dollar fundraising. As I was the sole creative person on this project, CEO Emily Milsovic relied on my expertise to make the right calls on all things visual, including pitch presentations, the company website, video and image assets, besides the entire visual identity of Armonica.

The Logomark

I'm fascinated by Star Trek: The Next Generation. Like most advanced civilizations depicted in the sci-fi series, Armonica's mission seems to align with the utopia depicted in the sci-fi series. If they're going to help eradicate cancer, all of humanity would probably get behind them, at least on these terms. The idea for the logo came from researching and observing lasers used in genomics. A key feature of the most advanced lasers, as of 2024, is the use of hexagonal crystals as opposed to circular-shaped crystals typically used in research lasers.


The logomark was formed with an A in the center that extends into a hexagonal shape. The shape represents precision and clarity, both of which are key tenets of Armonica. The shape was also a silent homage to an unsung hero of genomics - the humble crystal. The A at the center represents Armonica making rich, complex data problems simple. The logo ties together key values of the Armonica brand and the Armonica promise to customers, besides representing technical prowess.

The typography used to create the wordmark was custom-crafted with some corners being selected to be curved while others were sharpened, some characters were lengthened or extended. The purpose was to harmoniously integrate the wordmark with the crystal monogram.


Pitch Presentation
Before the logo and even before the website, the first and most important thing that CEO Emily Milsovic needed was a compelling investor pitch deck, visually aligned with the brand’s soon-to-be new identity. Hours were spent creating the confidential deck, complete with custom graphics, supporting strategic storytelling for fundraising. An investor deck is never complete and ever-evolving.

Website UI/UX & No-Code Development

Armonicatech.com was designed with a focus on futuristic, engaging interactions that elevate the brand story while ensuring development performance across devices.


I dived into creating quick, live responsive test links as opposed to prototypes. As of 2024/25, designers still are able to accomplish a lot more in terms of web interactions using NoCode development tools rather than prototypers. My approach centered around dynamic on-scroll effects that animate as users navigate, guiding attention and reinforcing the scientific innovation at the heart of Armonica’s identity. Every interactive transition, from layered parallax to gentle reveal animations, immersed and invited users to engage and read what is typically technical and dense content. The interactions were tailored to perform smoothly on mobile where motion design often suffers.


The hero section of the homepage features a distinctive 3D shift effect, inviting users to begin their exploration as the entire first section moves in a dramatic Z-axis, in response to the user's scrolling. This depth cue adds richness and intrigue, setting Armonica apart from conventional biotechnology sites that play it safe. Custom assets, including short supporting videos and carefully graded photography, were developed to assist in explaining Armonica's technology its impact. Every aspect of the the website and virtually every asset used was enthusiastically approved by the CEO in a single round, reflecting my commitment to both creative direction and executive collaboration.

The redesign contributed directly to Armonica raising over $2 million in new funding through its revitalized identity and website.

The identity positions Koray as a visionary yet grounded technology brand — an AI innovator rooted in engineering excellence. Over the duration of 4 days, we were tasked with creating a viable launch point for an entire brand. The logo, creative direction and overall brand tone was well appreciated by the client.
